Terms of use

The service

Juomakartta is provided by RockIT Oy. The service is a public directory of licensed alcoholic beverage producers in Finland. See also What Juomakartta is and About the service.

No sale of alcohol

No alcoholic beverages are sold to consumers in the service. Juomakartta is not Alko. Any mentions of availability («Available through restaurants») do not constitute an offer to sell.

Information «as is»

The information in the directory may be incomplete or out of date. We do not guarantee that the information is complete, up to date or fit for any particular purpose. Where necessary, check official licence and company information from the original source (e.g. Valvira / PRH).

Producers' content

Content entered or approved by a producer (texts, images, links) is the producer's responsibility. We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites.

User accounts

A portal user undertakes to provide correct information, to keep their credentials secure and to use the service in accordance with the law and these terms. We may close an account due to misuse, an information security threat or a breach of these terms.

Prohibited use

The service may not be used:

  • for activities that are unlawful or contrary to good practice
  • to disrupt the system (e.g. malware, excessive automated retrieval without an agreement)
  • to mislead others or to collect personal data unlawfully

Intellectual property rights

The structure and layout of the service and the material produced by RockIT Oy belong to RockIT Oy or its licensors. Open data sources (LVV, YTJ/PRH, etc.) retain their own terms (e.g. CC BY 4.0 for LVV data). Producers' trademarks and logos belong to the producers.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided «as is». RockIT Oy is not liable for indirect damages or for business decisions based on the use of the information, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Contact: asiakaspalvelu@juomakartta.fi

Governing law: the laws of Finland. Disputes shall primarily be settled by the Pirkanmaa District Court, unless mandatory consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
